A local marketplace with a neighborhood attached

CompraPostea is a local-first marketplace and community built for the Houston metro. It started in Houston and Pasadena and is expanding city by city across Texas and beyond.

One account covers everything: buy and sell vehicles and everyday goods, hire local services, find work, follow your neighborhood feed and join community groups.

Set your area from the location selector in the header. Everything you browse is filtered by the distance you choose, so you only see things you could actually collect.

To sell, choose Post a listing, pick a type, add photos and a price. Your dashboard lets you mark items sold, pause them, or relist later.

Messages are private between you and the other person. Sellers see a notification when a buyer writes, and you can reply from the Messages page on any device.

Meet in a public place during daylight. Bring someone with you for high-value items and never send a deposit before you have seen the item.

For vehicles, check the title matches the seller's name, ask for a pre-purchase inspection, and never wire money to someone you have not met.

Report suspicious listings, messages or posts. Every report goes to a moderator and the person you report is never told who flagged it. You can also block someone from their profile.

Your messages are private to you and the person you are talking to. They are not shown to other members and are not part of any public page.

Public information is what you choose to publish: your display name, profile photo, city, listings and posts. Your email address is never shown on your profile.

Dealerships may publish business contact details on purpose; private sellers choose whether to show a phone number. You can delete your account and its content from Account settings at any time.

Be honest about what you are selling and post accurate photos. No counterfeit goods, stolen property, weapons, live animals, or anything illegal in Texas.

No harassment, hate speech, spam or duplicate listings. Moderators can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

CompraPostea does not handle payments or shipping. Any transaction is between buyer and seller, and we cannot guarantee an item or refund a payment.

Use the Report button on any listing, post or profile to reach the moderation team — it is the fastest route and it includes the exact content you flagged.

For account issues that are not about a specific post, sign in and use Account settings so we can match your request to your account.
